Anwesa: A national award-winning dancer – scholar, specializing in the field Sattriya Dance with premium solo concerts across several nations and various prestigious forums in India, Anwesa received accolades for her unique interpretations of the Sattriya Dance keeping intact the core philosophy of the form and its ritualistic practice. A recipient of CWIT Fellowship, British Council, her multiple scholarly publications embrace various aspects of tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Assam with coveted fellowships from Sangeet Natak Akademi and Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
